Mildred Bradshaw

Mildred “Millie” Bradshaw, 94, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016. She was born August 27, 1921 in Topeka the daughter of John and Daisy Rowden Hickey. She was raised here, and attended Topeka High School. Millie married her sweetheart Jim, on October 5, 1943. They were blessed to share nearly 53 years together before his passing in 1996. Millie worked for over 25 years at Gage Bowl North as a Youth Bowling Instructor and as the Bookkeeper.
Survivors include her son Tom Bradshaw and wife Mary of Topeka; daughter, Judy Jenks and husband Mike of Topeka; granddaughters, Teresa Tatum and Kristene Holland; great-grandchildren, James and Jordan Emerson and Cody Holland; great-great grandson, Landen; brother, Don Hickey in Florida and sister, Mary Wilson who lives in Arkansas.
Preceding her in death are siblings, Jewell, Ray and Merle.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016 at Mount Hope Cemetery at 1:30 pm. She will lie in state from 1-5 pm on Sunday where the family will receive friends from 3-4 pm. To leave a message for the family please visit www.davidsonfuneral.com
