Sharon L. Jackson

Sharon Louise Myers Jackson, 68, of Topeka Kansas passed away on April 2, 2016. Sharon was born January 29, 1948 in Topeka the daughter of Ross Wilson Myers, Sr. and Theresa Bledsoe Myers. Sharon married George D. Jackson, Sr., on May 29, 1967. They were married for 48 years.
Survivors include her husband, George D. Jackson, Sr.; her children, George D. Jackson Jr., Betsy Jackson Thompson, Melissa Jackson Simons, three brothers, Ross Myers, Jr and Donnie Myers; Lawrence Oyler; seven grandchildren, Corey Jackson, Patience Cunningham, Sara Cirilo, Cody Thompson, Rebecca Thompson, Wayne Simons, Jason Simons; two sons-in-law, Donald Thompson, Jr. and Robert Simons; two great-grandchildren; five nephews and four nieces. Sharon’s family is all of Topeka.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Theresa Myers and a brother, Dale Myers, Sr.
Sharon was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and she will be missed by all her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 N. Kansas on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Half-day Cemetery.
