Daisy Elieen Coffman Runyan

Daisy Elieen Runyan, 92 of Topeka, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 in Topeka. She was born November 30, 1923 in Tonganoxie, Ks the daughter of John and Lula (Cleveland) Coffman. She attended Tonganoxie schools. While she worked at various jobs throughout her life she devoted herself to her home and family. In her younger years she loved bowling and fishing and babysitting for her grandchildren. She was a member of Northland Christian Church.

Daisy married Robert Runyan on November 9, 1945 in Topeka. He preceded her in death December 22, 2013. She is also preceded in death by two daughters , Patricia Corber and Peggy Womack; 2 grandsons, Jerry Womack Jr. and Matthew Runyan; and 4 siblings.
Survivors include a daughter Beverly (Leonard) Womack, Topeka; a son Robert (Susan) Runyan Jr., Silver Lake; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Silver Lake Cemetery. She will lie in state Tuesday from noon – 8:00 p.m. with visitation from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.
