Esther Louise Johnson

Esther Louise Johnson, age 81, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the Plaza West Care Home in Topeka. Louise was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1934 in Emporia, Kansas the daughter of Joseph Leabo and Esther Mae Scoggin Leabo. She attended Quenemo High School. She married Delmar L. Johnson May 17, 1969 in Topeka. He preceded her in death July 13, 1991. Louise worked as a cook for Menningers in Topeka for 12 years. Louise was a member of the Lakeview Nazarene Church in Topeka. She is survived by a son, Larry Lee Green of Olney Springs, CO; a daughter, Roberta Louise Green of Topeka; a sister, Roberta Obercht of Arizona; three grandchildren, Stephanie Leeann Green, Mindy Jo Green and Ashley Marie Green and five great grandchildren.
Cremation is planned. Davidson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
