Juanice G. Rodriguez of Topeka passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016 in Wichita. Juanice was born in Lafferty, Arkansas the daughter of George and Irene Miller Harvell on May 18, 1940. Juanice and her family lived in Wichita prior to moving to Topeka where she had lived since 1974. She was married to Joe Rodriguez on January 26, 1985 at home in Highland Park. Juanice worked for Frito-Lay for nearly 30 years before retiring. She was a member at North Rock Baptist Temple for over 10 years. She enjoyed baking, yard work and tending her flowers, fishing, and her pets, and traveling to her native Arkansas.
Juanice is survived by her sons, Jimmy McClure and wife Sandy of Independence, Missouri, Wayne McClure and wife Shannan of Wichita; five grandchildren, Melinda, Jennifer, Sheree, Dusty and Nicholas; five great-grandchildren, Jayden, Austin, Lincoln, Ellisyn and Noralynn; her brothers, Ray(Joan) Harvell of Wichita and Ronnie (Cathy) Harvell of Wichita; step-children, Annie Barron of Topeka, David Rodriguez and wife Jeri of Ulysses, Kansas, Rita Rodriguez of Topeka and Patricia Rodriguez; step-grandchildren, Ricky Barron, Michael Barron, Valencia Rodriguez, Monica Rodriguez, Martin Rodriguez, Anelisa Rodriguez, Letisia Rodriguez, Shaye Keeling, Danielle Keeling and Tregg Rodriguez; six step-greatchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Joe on June 20, 2015 and one great-grandchild, Ma'Leinna Jayamairah Marie Cooper.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 27th at North Rock Baptist Temple. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 pm on Friday evening at Davidson Funeral Home in Topeka.
