Erma Jean Montgomery

Erma Jean Montgomery, long time resident of Topeka,KS passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016. She was born August 4, 1925 in Emmett, KS. Erma graduated from Highland Park High School in 1942 and worked for the State of Kansas for many years. Erma loved animals, collecting Beanie Babies and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed socializing and had a smile that could light up any room. She is survived by two sons, George W. Montgomery and Vernon W. Montgomery, 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Erma will lie in state Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 12pm-5:00pm at Davidson Funeral Home,1035 N. Kansas Ave, Topeka, KS 66608. In lieu of flowers Erma asked contributions to be made to Helping Hands Humane Society in Topeka, KS. Memorial Services will be held Friday,February 19, 2016 at 1:30pm, at the Mount Hope Abbey Chapel, 4700 SW 17th St, Topeka, KS 66604.
