Richard Lynn

Richard D. Lynn, 92, of Topeka passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka. He was born November 28, 1923 in Topeka the son of Francis M. and Edna M. Kistler Lynn. Richard served our country in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad before retiring.
He was married to Virginia Rosa Miles on October 25, 1947 in Topeka.
Survivors include his wife Virginia Lynn of Topeka; two daughters, Linda Perott of Topeka and Nancy Cuffe; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren also survive.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm at Davidson Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 9, 2015. Memorial contributions may be made to the NE Kansas Alzheimer's Association. Graveside services and military honors will follow at Topeka Cemetery
