Mary Louise Simpson

Mary Louise Simpson, age 61 of Topeka, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 at Stormont Vail Hospital. Mary was born June 9, 1954 in Topeka the daughter of Ivan Hoy and Vivian Raeger Hoy. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1971. She worked for USD #501 for over 43 years. She married Robert Simpson April 6, 1972 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Brian (Barb) Simpson and Matthew Simpson, both of Topeka; two sisters, Georgianna Steenbock and Jeanette Kerley, both of Topeka; five grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a daughter who died in infancy, Jodi Rene Simpson and a brother, Larry Brown.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the KU Medical Center/Liver Transplant Unit and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at davidsonfuneral.com.
