Bonnie Finson

Bonnie M. Finson, age 83 of Topeka, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. Bonnie was born September 17, 1932 in Topeka the daughter of Hardy and Mary Failer Streeter. She grew up in Topeka, graduating from Seaman High School in 1950. She married Duane Finson on July 22, 1950. He preceded her in death on June 4, 2002. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Laurie Ann in 1973 and two grandsons, R.D. Finson and Tony Alfano; her parents; a sister, Helen (James) Crump and a brother, Dale (Wilma) Streeter.
Survivors include a son, Randy (Janice) Finson and a daughter, Linda (Bruce) Teeter, both of Topeka; a brother, Galen Streeter; two grandsons, Jason (Laura) Finson and Ben Alfano; four granddaughters, Katie Portillo-Finson, Melanie Finson, Jennifer Portillo and Jessie Roth, all of Topeka; six great grand children, several cousins, nieces and nephews along with a dear fiancé, Kermit C. Schrenk, Sr.
Graveside services will be Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the West Lawn Memorial Gardens. She will lie in state Wednesday from noon – 8:00 p.m. with visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.
