George Zimmerman

George H. Zimmerman Jr. age 74, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. George was born August 17, 1941 in Topeka the son of George Zimmerman and Jessie Bayless Zimmerman. George married Margaret Skiles in 1969. She preceded him in death. George worked at the Shawnee Country Club/Great Life in Topeka for over 40 years. He was a member of the Light of the World Christian Center in Topeka. He is survived by three daughters, Cori (Dan) Freeman of Overland Park, Debbie (Dean) Gillum of Topeka and Jessica (Terrance) Woodfin of Colorado Springs, CO; a son, Stacy Zimmerman of South Carolina; a sister, Adetha Buchheim of Meridan and four grandchildren, Dalton Gillum, Terren Woodfin, Terrance Woodfin Jr. and Dayton Gillum.

Memorial services will be Monday, November 9, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home in Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Rescue Mission and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at davidsonfuneral.com.
