Cecil Eugene Raby

Cecil Eugene Raby, 85, of Topeka passed away on September 29, 2015. He was born June 18, 1930 at Silver Lake the son of George Ernest and Pansy Mae Ramer Raby. Cecil graduated from Topeka High School in the class of 1949. He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He later retired from the Department of Defense.
On August 3, 1951 he was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Cook. They celebrated their 64 wedding anniversary this year.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Raby of Topeka; sons, Reginal Raby and wife Lorrie in Sunnyside UT; Stan Raby and wife Linda of Oceanside, CA, Douglas Raby and wife Kathryn of Menifee, CA and Michael Raby and Alena of Corona, CA; one sister, Marjorie Davis of Albuquerque, NM; ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Mr. Raby was cremated. Memorial services will be held on Monday October 5th at 10:30 am at First Christian Church, 1880 SW Gage Blvd in Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice and sent in care of Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 N Kansas Ave, Topeka, KS 66608.
