Walter "Wally" F. Pukach

Walter “Wally” F. Pukach, age 86 of Topeka passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at his home in Topeka. Walter was born December 7, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of Frank and Frances Pukach. Walter married Janis Ramsey July 23, 1954. Walter served in the U.S. Army before moving to Topeka. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #555 in Topeka and American Legion Post #400. He was the owner and operator of Perfection Heating and Cooling from 1973 until 2011. Walter was preceded in death by a half brother, Steve Litwak in 1991. He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Janis Pukach of Topeka; children, Walt (Terry) Pukach of Topeka, Tammy (Matt) Smith of Henderson, Nevada and Greg Pukach (Lorie King) of Topeka; five grandchildren, Jeremy, Jason and Kaitlin Pukach, Josh and Adam Smith and two step grandchildren, Megan and Cade Wright.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Mater Dei Holy Name Catholic Church in Topeka. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
