Joyce Mae Howland

Joyce Mae Howland, age 72, of North Topeka passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015. Joyce was born August 4, 1942 in Columbus, Indiana the daughter of Jesse Thurman Byrd and Nora Jewell Byrd. She grew up and graduated from high school in Columbus, Indiana.
She married Joseph C. Ross from Columbus, Indiana. He preceded her in death. She was married to Charles Linville of Topeka, KS. She married Norman Howland of Topeka. He also preceded her in death.
Joyce worked for the Kansas Turnpike Authority for over 15 years.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Rocky Ross and a daughter, Roxanna Miller, a twin brother, Jesse Ray Byrd and a sister Louise Johnson.
She is survived by a son, Russell Ross of Las Vegas, NV; sister-in-law, Betty Byrd of Topeka and sister, Kay Trowbridge of Norman, Indiana; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren along with a step daughter, Lorraine Howland of Topeka, step-son Darren Howland, niece, Debra Shipley and nephew, Richard Clark of Columbus, Indiana.
