David A. Clelland, 53, of Topeka passed away at his home on June 22, 2015. He was born on Saint Patrick’s Day, March 17, 1962 at Hiawatha, one of eleven children of Bob and Rosemary Clelland. David was raised at Hiawatha. He spent most of his adult life in Topeka. He was a welder by trade and worked at Topeka Metal Specialties for over 20 years before retiring due to his health. He was a big fan of Kevin Harvick, a huge K-Stater, and he enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include: his daughter Lacey Cross of Topeka; step-daughter, Ashley Nikkel of Topeka; grandchildren, Riley, Harper and Ryder all of Topeka; siblings, Chuck, Bobby Joe, Rick, Randy, Steve, Susan, Helen, Lori and Carol.
Preceding Mr. Clelland where his parents; one brother, Louie.
Cremation is planned. A memorial gathering will be held at the Community Building in Goff on Saturday, June 27th at 5:00 pm. Inurnment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery at Goff.
