Margaret Lee Bowers

Margaret Bowers, age 64 of Topeka passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the Midland Hospice Care facility in Topeka. Margaret was born August 16, 1950 the youngest of three to Leonard Bowers and Angeline Olliso Bowers. Margaret grew up in Topeka, graduating from Topeka High School in 1968. Margaret worked at several places over the years including Crossroads Christian Ministry, Dollar General Store, Burlington Coat Factory, RJ Cars and Walmart. She is survived by two sisters, Betty Scheibe of New Jersey and Ruth Courville (Bob) of Topeka; a brother, Gary Bowers of Missouri and a host of friends. Margaret will be missed by all who came in contact with her over the years. She was a very sweet person.
Graveside services will be Friday, June 26, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at the West Lawn Memorial Gardens. She will lie in state Thursday afternoon from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.
