Adam Nicolas Auten

Adam N. Auten, age 24, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka. Adam was born August 5, 1990 in Topeka the son of Larry Auten and Rebecca Creech Auten. Adam attended Topeka 501 Schools, graduating from Highland Park High School in 2009. He attended TARC, Capper Foundation and was affiliated with Sheltered Living of Topeka. Adam was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Edward J. Creech, Francis L. Stadler and Junior F. Auten, along with two nephews, Colt Turkin and Dominic Turkin.
He is survived by his grandparents, Margaret “Fran” Stadler, Ellen “Weggie” Auten and Robert and Mary Allen; his mother, Becky (Patrick) Williams; his father, Larry (Ronda) Auten; step mother, Crystal Bahr; sisters, Erin (Iaron Jones) Auten, Ashly (Damon) Turkin and Hailee Auten; a brother, Dez Burns; a step sister, Kimber Williams and a nephew, Angel Love.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. The family request that everyone wear bright colors to the funeral. He will lie in state Tuesday from noon – 8:00 p.m. with visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. all at the Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Rochester Cemetery.
