Ralph M. Vogue

Ralph M. Vogue, age 92 of Topeka passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Topeka V.A. Hospital. Ralph was born September 24, 1922 in Fostoria, KS the son of Gust and Hilma Appleroth Vogue. He graduated from Fostoria High School in 1940. He served in the U.S. Navy during W.W.II aboard a destroyer in the South Pacific. Ralph worked for the Postal Supply Center in Topeka for over 35 years. He married Joan Rose Walker April 10, 1948 in Topeka. Ralph was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. He was a member of and served as president in 1961 of the Shawnee German Shepherd Dog Club.
Ralph is survived by his wife Joan of over 67 years; a son, Greg (Janell) Vogue of Topeka and two grandchildren, Katie (Travis) Renna and Tom Vogue.
Funeral service will be Friday, June 12, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Topeka. Ralph will lie in state Thursday from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a visitation from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Penwell Gable Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.
