Judith Ann Mcdiffett Stuewe

January 7, 1941 — June 6, 2015

Judith Ann McDiffett Stuewe, 74, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at a Topeka Hospital. She was born January 7, 1941 in Topeka the daughter of William and Lova Lemon Weiler. She was raised in Topeka and graduated from Seaman High School. Judy worked at Falley's north grocery Store, Sutton's Grocery and Wild Willie's in North Topeka. She later served as a bank teller at Kaw Valley State Bank for several years. And then she went on to work for over 19 years as a tax examiner for the Dept. of Revenue with the State of Kansas. She went to Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church for many years. Recently she had been attending Meriden United Methodist Church.
She was married on March 26, 1960 to Arnold Wayne McDiffett. He passed away on May 9, 1996. She married Ron “Papa Stuewe on November 18, 2005 at Miami, Oklahoma. Ron survives at their home near Meriden.
Other survivors include: son Richard McDiffett (Dana) of Pratt, Ks; daughter Nancy Dolezilek (Gerry) of Kenai, Alaska; step-sons, Doug Stuewe (Holly) of Topeka and Andy Stuewe (Rachel) of Topeka; six grandchildren, Joshua Kade and wife, Lila, Jared, Brady, Griffin, Jackson and Lauren.
Preceding her in death along with her parents and first husband are all nine of her brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Welcome Cemetery northwest of Alta Vista. She will lie in state from 12-8 on Wednesday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6-8 pm.
Her biggest love in life was her family, especially her grandkids and all of her animals. Judy will be forever remembered by her loving family and friends.
