Robert L. Cook died Sunday morning on 4-19-2015. He was the only child of Millard I. Cook and Ruby (Freeman) Cook, born 12-3-49 in Topeka Ks. He graduated from Highland Park High School in 1968 and served his country as a Special Forces demolitions expert in the Army serving in Germany from 1968 until 1972. He married Janice Smith in 1972, they later divorced. He married Victoria Croucher in 1978, they later divorced. He married Beverly Best in 2005, she survives. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Beverly, his daughter Jandy Ness of Colorado Springs, His sons Troy Cook and Justin Cook of Topeka, Ks, and 5 grandchildren. Robert worked for Gregg Tire and Flemings Company Inc. of Topeka. His past times were hunting, fishing, archery, gardening, woodworking, and he was also a shade-tree mechanic.
Services will be held Tuesday, May 5 at 7:00 p.m. at Countryside Christian Church.
