Donald D. Morin

Donald D. Morin, age 63 of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at his home in Topeka. Don was born April 24, 1951 in Topeka the son of Paul and Virginia Martin Morin. He graduated from Highland Park High School in 1969. He married Janice Thurber December 31, 1976 in Topeka. Together they owned and operated Anchor Gold Custom Jewelry for over 25 years. Don was a member of Central Park Christian Church. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Don was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Blodgett. He is survived by his wife, Janice of over 38 years; a daughter, Ashlee (Matt) Wiltz of Topeka; a sister, Donna (Larry) Johnson of Topeka; three grandchildren, Landon, Luke and Claire; brother in law, Forrest Thurber; sister in law, Glenda Thurber along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Per Don’s request, a small private family gathering will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Park Christian Church and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at davidsonfuneral.com.
