Donald Lee Traphagan

Donald Lee Traphagan, age 70, of Topeka passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 in Topeka. Don was born September 24, 1944 in Topeka the son of William and Flossie Traphagan. Don graduated from Scranton High School. He served in the U.S. Navy. He worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Topeka for over 30 years. He later worked for Sheltered Living in Topeka. He was a member of the American Legion in Topeka. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Terri Ann Douglas; his parents, Bill and Flossie Traphagan; two brothers, Bill and Russell Traphagan and three sisters, Loretta Roberts, Betty Anthony and Charlotte Holiday. He is survived by two sons, Tracey and Jeffrey Traphagan of Topeka; two brothers, Eddie (Debbie) Traphagan of Carbondale and Ga len (Lisa) Traphagan of Topeka; a sister, Donna (Gary) Koerner of Topeka; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. He will lie in state Tuesday from noon – 5:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., one hour before the services. Interment will be at the Carbondale Cemetery.
