Thomas A. Edwards

Thomas “Tommy” A. Edwards, age 60, passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. Tommy was born September 7, 1954 in Topeka the son of Forrest and Myrtle Chance Edwards. Tommy lived with Sheltered Living for over 40 years. Tommy worked at TARC in Topeka for several years where he especially enjoyed the Senior Day program. He enjoyed attending Sunday school at the United Methodist Church. He also enjoyed bowling and going to McDonalds.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Sergeant First Class James Edwards Sr. and Sergeant Forrest Edwards and a sister, Glenda Edwards. He is survived by a brother, Clinton (Kay)Edwards of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two sisters, Edna (Max) Long of Abilene and Norma (Jim) Cobler of Topeka along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour before the services on Friday. Interment services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Mt. Sidney Cemetery, near Linwood, KS.
