Dale Warren Graham

Dale W. Graham, 86, of Topeka passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Midland Hospice Care. Dale was born September 19, 1928 at Topeka the son of Mark and Lois (Mitchell) Graham. Dale graduated from Topeka High School in 1947. He later graduated from the Oklahoma Barber College in Oklahoma City in 1954. He also served a stint in the Army. He married Helen Bernritter January 19, 1954 in Topeka. He was Owner of South City Barber Shop in Topeka. He barbered for over 47 years. He was a member of American Legion Post #1, Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge #4319 over 40 years and a past member of the Barbers Union Association.
Dale was married to Helen Bernritter, January 19, 1954 in Topeka.
Survivors include his wife of over 61 years, Helen Graham of Topeka; his children, Roy Graham, Donna (Alan) Gravenstein, Lisa (Ron) Grapper, Joy (Roger) McKinley; sister, LaVern Nelson; grandchildren, Dustin, Mitchel, Chad (Amanda) , Tanner, Ashley, Matthew, Cody; great-grandchildren, Emmy, Rylee, Chance and Jaxon.
He was preceded in death by his mom and dad and a sister, Lorraine Miller.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Private family graveside services will be held in the Greenwood Cemetery, south of St. Mary’s on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eagles Lodge or to Valeo in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.
