Teresa Ann Mcphail

Teresa A. McPhail, age 54, of North Topeka, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital after complications due to surgery. She was born December 18, 1960 in Topeka the daughter of Freddie Sipp and Janice Boyd Sipp. She attended Topeka High School. She worked at Swan’s Formal Wear and then for the State of Kansas at the Kansas Historical Society for over 20 years. She married Randy McPhail April 13, 1984 in Topeka. She was a member of the Kaw Valley Gun Club. She was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Sipp in 1988. She is survived by her husband Randy of over 30 years; her mother, Janice Ann Johnson (Ed) of Topeka; a son, Lucas McPhail of Topeka; a daughter, Lyndsey McPhail of Topeka; two brothers, Tom Sipp of Wichita and Robert Sipp of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; a sister, Sherrie Contee of Topeka and five grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Penwell Gable Memorial Park Cemetery. She will lie in state Monday from noon – 8:00 p.m. with visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home in North Topeka.
