Nathalie Louise Busey

Nathalie L. Busey, age 85, of Topeka passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 in Topeka. She was born January 3, 1930 in Laclede, Kansas the daughter of Floyd Wilson and Anna Howe Wilson. She married Marvin Busey June 28, 1947 in Topeka. He preceded her in death August 17, 1989. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ed Busey March 18, 2014 and a great granddaughter, Brianna Clark September 19 , 2001. She is survived by two sons, Randy Busey of Topeka and Darrin (Joyce) Busey of Topeka; a daughter, Marilyn (William) Owens of Mayetta, KS; a special granddaughter, Lacinda (Danny) Housholder of Tecumseh, KS; three sisters, Marie Fisher of Wamego, Sharen Tessendorf of Wamego, KS and Karon Roberts of Platte City, MO; 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Nathalie was a member of the class of ’48 lunch group. She was also a member of the Northland Christian Church.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Northland Christian Church. She will lie in state Wednesday from noon – 8:00 p.m. with visitation from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Rochester Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Northland Christian Church or the Terry C. Johnson Center for Cancer Research at K.S.U. and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.
