Isabelle Price

Isabelle Price, 92, of Topeka passed away with her family by her side, on Saturday, November 22, 2014. Isabelle was born on November 19, 1922 in Williamsport Township, Shawnee County, Kansas the daughter of William and Effie Mae Nickell Lewis. She graduated from Seaman High School. She and Jesse attended Seward Ave. Baptist Church for many years. Isabelle sold Avon for many years, winning lots of saleswomen awards. She was married on January 11, 1941 to Jesse Price. They were blessed to be able to share nearly 68 years together before Jesse’s passing in January of 2009.
Survivors include two daughters, Cathy C. Ryan and Karen Price both of Topeka; Seven grandchildren, Mark, Rick, Brett, Melissa, Penny, Jessica; Matt preceding in death; great-grandchildren, Adrianna, Tony, Isaiah, Brandon, Jesse, Justin, Gabriel, Jeramy, Joshua, Sasha, Luke, Caleb, Timothy, Kristopher and Ashley; great great grandchildren, Isabelle, Emma, Naomi, Breanna, Julianna, Alyssa, Jayden, Alexis, Chloee, Hayleyann, Matthew, Eli, Peyton, Kristopher, Blake, Austin, and Elijah, Daniel preceded in death;
Along with her husband Jesse, he was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; and three brothers.
Funeral Services will be held on at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Prairie Home Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 pm Friday evening at Davidson’s. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
