Alvin Otto Greeson Jr.

Alvin O. Greeson Jr. age 86, of Topeka passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in Topeka. Alvin was born October 18, 1928 in Albuquerque, New Mexico the son of Alvin Greeson and Electa Westfall Greeson. He grew up in Topeka, graduating from Seaman High School in 1946. He also graduated from Emporia State College with an industrial arts degree. He taught school for a while before working as a masonry contractor. He would later own and operate Greeson Masonry in Topeka. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
He is survived by three sons, Alvin “Skip” O. Greeson III of Gig Harbor, Washington, Craig Greeson and Mike (Jill) Greeson, both of Topeka; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
