Raymond Robert Skeen

Raymond R. Skeen, age 71, of Topeka, passed away Monday, October 13, 2014 at his home in Topeka. Raymond was born October 17, 1942 in Rolla, North Dakota to Donald Skeen and Iris Steffen Skeen. Raymond spent most of his life in North Topeka where he worked as a self employed lawn and landscaper. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Skeen in 1984. He is survived by a brother, William Craig of St. Joe, MO and 6 sisters, Iris Martin of Booneville, MO, Judy Weekley of Topeka, Nancy Christman of Wathena, Ramona Hundley of Falls City, NE, Patricia “Patty” Bittle of Overland Park and Jean Baker of Rushville, MO.
Funeral services will be Monday, October 20, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. The family will greet friends Monday from 9:30 am until service time at the Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Union Cemetery in Beattie, KS at 3:00 p.m. Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.
