David Wayne Cross

David Wayne Cross, age 49, of Topeka, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014. He was born September 6, 1964 in Hutchinson, Kansas, the son Lloyd J. and Karen Sue (Schroll) Cross. David married Tamara “Kelli” (Myers) Cross on May 23, 2014, she survives. He is also survived by his parents Lloyd and Karen; 3 children from a previous marriage; sons Troy (Sunny) Cross and William Cross, daughter Tara Cross, and sister Janet (Stephen) Barlow, 1 grandchild and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Jeff Cross in 2013. David loved life; he was an avid BBQ’er, loved fishing with his kids, Pink Floyd, and was famous for throwing great parties including his annual 4th of July party. David was an avid KU Jayhawk fan and because of his love for his team, his family requests that you wear your Jayhawk t-shirt to the memorial service.
Memorial services will be Friday, July 18, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home, with a visitation from noon to 1:00 p.m. Online condolences may be made at davidsonfuneral.com.
