Robert Allen Hodges

Robert “Bob” Allen Hodges, age 84, of Topeka, passed away on July 11, 2014. He was born August 23, 1929, the son of Virgil Allen and Blanche Margaret (Neibarger) Hodges, who preceded him in death. Robert was employed as a salesman for Electrolux Vacuum in Topeka and later became self-employed as a vacuum salesman.
Robert married Ella (Mayfield) Hodges on June 23, 1956, she survives. Together they have 4 children; G. Allen Hodges, Crystal (Bob) Stoneman, Anne Margaret (James) Stanley, and Colleen Zink. They also have 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren that will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18 from 6-7:30 PM at Davidson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 19 at 10 AM also at the funeral home, followed by burial at Meriden Cemetery.
