Dale Misegadis

Dale E. Misegadis, 90, passed away June 11, 2014 with loved ones at his side. He was born August 26, 1923 in Rush Center, Kansas. He was one of eight children born to George and Wibke Marie Misegadis. Dale is survived by his partner in love Betty Kimble; sister, Mae Schlegel; daughters, Patricia Dean and Sue Kassin; grandchildren, Jeff Ortiz, Brian Kassin, Travis Dean, and Cory Dean, along with three great-granddaughters. Dale proudly served his country in a tank battalion during WWII where he was awarded the Bronze Star. He worked, until his retirement, for the State of Kansas as a computer programmer. Dale’s interests included a love of jazz music, ballroom dancing, researching family lineage, history, and computers. He chose to be laid to rest in Leavenworth National Cemetery. Davidson Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
