Juanita Jean North (Evans) passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014 in Topeka at the age of 69. Juanita was born September 9, 1944 in Topeka. She worked as a waitress for Ira Price Café. She was preceded in death by her mother, Stella Emery (Bowers); father, Kenith J.D. Emery; two brothers, Clifford Bowers and Kenith Emery; son, Richard Evans and a mother-in-law, Mary North (Jackie). She is survived by her loving husband, Tom L. North; two daughters, Sheryl Bowers and Tara Wilson; 6 grandchildren, Jamie Decou (Bowers), Lisa Fienhage (Christopher), Christopher Evans, Michael Evans, Charles Wilson IV, Haley Wilson; 8 great grandchildren, Austin Miller (Decou), Jazmyn Decou, McKenzy Decou, Macey Burchfiel, Brody Fienhage, Christopher Evans Jr., Richard Evans and Brooklynn Evans; a sister, Sherry Dunavin; a brother, Gary Emery along with several nieces and nephews. She loved going to the Casino and playing Bingo.
