Mildred Pearl Jaquith, age 101, of Topeka passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Atria Heartstone in Topeka. Mildred was born May 19, 1913 in Eskridge the daughter of Claude Sprague and Mable Dooling Sprague. She married Earl Jaquith June 17, 1940. He preceded her in death in 1991. While living in Beloit for many years, Mildred was active with the First United Methodist Church and the Cub Scouts in Beloit. After moving to Topeka, she attended the Lakeside Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by a son, Grant Jaquith of Topeka; a sister, Vera Bruhns of Topeka and a granddaughter, Larisa Scott of Olathe.
Memorial service will be Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Inurnment will be privately held later at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude’s Hospice Care and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at davidsonfuneral.com.
