Maryalice "Mary" Gallagher

Maryalice (Mary) Gallagher, of rural Oskaloosa, Kansas, passed away on June 6, 2014. She was born April 1, 1935 at Emporia, Kansas to Everett and Jane (Collinge) Reed. She was the youngest of eleven children. Mary graduated with the class of 1953 from Seaman High School. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary Moose Lodge and Ozawkie American Legion Auxiliary Post 225. Mary worked for thirty four years outside of the home at Santa Fe General Offices, Blue Cross and Blue Shield and two meat processing plants. She enjoyed her flowers, gardening, sewing, baking, feeding hummingbirds and estate sales. Thru the years she had many friends that she treasured.

At Mary’s request, no funeral, only graveside services will be held at the Ozawkie Cemetery on Wednesday, June 11 at 10 am. Memorial contributions can be made to Midland Hospice 200 S.W.
