Leo E. Fountain

Leo E. Fountain, age 83, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014 in Topeka. Leo was born May 15, 1931 in Topeka the son of Leo and Audrey Luce Fountain. Leo attended Topeka High and served in the Korean War in the Air Force. He married Marjorie “Jeanne” Johnson June 25, 1950 in Topeka. After the war, they moved to Glendale, California where Leo worked for Glenair Inc. for over 42 years. Upon retirement, they moved back to Topeka. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Sue Fountain on August 28, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne of over 63 years; a brother, Charles Fountain of Charlotte, NC; two sisters, Charlotte Rhea of Towanda, KS and Dorothy Cox of Niceville, FL along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial graveside services will be Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Rochester Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Midland Hospice Care and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.
