Donald A. King, age 59, of Topeka passed away Monday, April 28, 2014 at Stormont Vail Hospital. He was born July 7, 1954 in Paris, Missouri the son of Dorsey King and Helen Yeager King. He owned and operated Headhunters Recovery in Topeka. He married Dawna Johnson August 30, 1991 in Topeka, she survives of the home in Topeka. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry King. He is survived by two sons, Gregory King of Colorado and Travis King of Topeka; a daughter, Melanie King of Ft. Riley, KS; two brothers, Ronnie King of Topeka and Jerry King of Topeka; a sister, Brenda King of Topeka and 7 grandchildren.

A potluck gathering will be Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Meadowood Mobile Home Park in Topeka. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Davidson Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.
