Mike D Warthen

Mike D. Warthen, age 67, of Scranton, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 in Scranton. Mike was born November 2, 1946 in Topeka the son of Robert Warthen and Henrietta Streeter Warthen. Mike graduated from Shawnee Heights High School in 1964. He worked for Herrman Excavating for over 30 years. He married Cheryl Barnard June 28, 2008 in Scranton. He was a member of the Kansas Building Trades Union.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Warthen of Scranton; his father, Robert Warthen Sr. of Tecumseh; a brother, Robert Warthen Jr. of Topeka and numerous nieces and nephews.
