Robert "Bob" Earl Groff

Robert E. (Bob) Groff passed away March 31, 2014 at Oakley Place in Topeka. He was born September 1, 1935; the thirteenth of fifteen children born to Herbert R. and Ivah Blanche Groff, Lancaster, PA, both preceded him in death.

He served in the US Air Force from 1953-1963. He was stationed at Forbes Field in Topeka. He worked as a territory manager for Champion Spark Plug Company for 18 years.

He had a love for golf, team sports, auto racing and a true appreciation for music. He will be remembered for his friendly, congenial personality and his excellent singing voice.

Bob is survived by his children, Pamela Johnson of Topeka and Richard Groff, Edwardsville, KS, and one grandchild, Heath Johnson US Navy, Yokosuka, Japan.

Per his wishes cremation will take place with no services. The family asks that you be with them in thought and prayer during this difficult time. Memorial contributions can be made to Northland Christian Church. Davidson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
