Edwin Dale Busey

Edwin Dale Busey of Topeka passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at his home in Topeka. He was born October 13, 1948 in Topeka the son of Marvin and Nathalie (Wilson) Busey.   He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Ed had worked for Kansas Sand & Concrete 30 years.

He is survived by three children, Terry Coulter (Tom) of Topeka, Amy Busey (John) of Corpus Christi, TX and Matthew Busey (Holly) of Topeka; his mother, Nathalie Busey of Topeka; sister, Marilyn Owens Jackson County, Randy Busey of Topeka and Darrin Busey of Topeka; 11 grandchildren, Peyton, Holly, Jacob, Avery, Addison, Wyatt, Courtney, Derek, Brent, Aaron and Taylor.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 22nd at Davidson Funeral Home. He will be cremated following the service Saturday. On Monday, March 24 ^th military honors by Post #400 of the American Legion and inurnment will be held at 1:00 pm at Rochester Cemetery.  He will lie in state on Friday from 1-6 pm.
