Margaret E. Housh

Margaret E. Housh, 91, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was born July 3, 1922 at Atchison, Kansas the daughter of Homer and Virgil (Fine) Cobb. Margaret attended Clarke’s School of Business in Topeka and later became a book keeper for many years at Merchant’s National Bank before retiring.
She was married to Charles “Harley” Housh in 1946 at Atchison, they were blessed to share 58 years together. Harley passed away in 2004.
Survivors include numerous cousins including Bill Moore and wife Violet of Tecumseh and Jackie Flower and family of Topeka; niece, Connie Szczepanik and husband John north of St. Joseph, Mo. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brothers and sisters, Buddy who died at a young age, Ruthie Cobb, Bernita Cobb and Lois Cobb.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014 at Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Ozawkie Cemetery. The family will receive friends from beginning at 12:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
