George E. Jenson

George E. Jenson, 80, of Topeka, died Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at Midland Hospice.
He was born January 9, 1934, in Atchison County, the son of Louis R. and Lou Mae (Crosswhite) Jenson. He attended school in the Denison community and graduated from Denison High School in 1952.
Mr. Jenson served two years active duty in the military and worked 37 years in the accounting department of Santa Fe Railway, retiring in 1989.
He married Mary Lou (Tolbert) on November 16, 1952. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons, Greg and Scott (Kristi), both of Topeka, a brother John J. of Denison, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
There will be a private graveside service at Rochester Cemetery on Friday, January 24th at 2:00 pm. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association and sent in care of Davidson Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at davidsonfuneral.com.
