Geraldine "Geri" Euvone White

Geraldine “Geri” White, age 90, of Topeka went to be with her Lord Tuesday, December 3, 2013 with her loving family by her side. Geri was born March 20, 1923 in the Cleburne Community the daughter of Gilbert and Esther Nelson Jones. She attended Springside Grade School and graduated from Cleburne High School. She married John Willard White August 4, 1941 in Topeka. In 1950 they moved to their farm in Shawnee County. It was there that they owned and operated the White Family Dairy many years. She loved being a farm girl and working with animals.
She was preceded in death by her husband Willard in 2009, two sons, Ronnie in 1944 and Willard Ray in 2012 and a sister Arline Crisler.
She is survived by a brother, Lowell of Olsburg, KS; two sons, Darrell and his wife Jeana White of Meriden and Delayne and his wife Wendy White of Topeka; a daughter in law Janet White of Meriden; a special friend Renee Lindsey of Lee’s Summit, MO; 9 grandchildren; Delbert, Debbie, Wendy, Wes, Deana, Jeff, Joe, Betty Sue, and Leeanna 12 great grandchildren; Lacy, Bailey, Riley, Cameron, Carrie, John, Tegan, Zack, Elizabeth, Adam, Zander, and Quinton and one great-great grandson Jaxon.
Funeral services will be Friday, December 6, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home in Topeka. She will lie in state Thursday from noon – 8:00 p.m. with visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. also at the Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Rochester Cemetery.
