Nancy A. Campbell (Wolfe) LeDuc, 63, of Topeka, died Friday morning, November 29, 2013, at home, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born to the late Harvey H. Campbell of Denison, Texas and Delores J. (Aaron) Leupold of Topeka, Kansas on June 12, 1950 at Chanute AFB in Rantoul, Illinois. In 1968, she graduated from Tyee High School in Seattle, Washington. After living abroad and in several states in the U.S., she settled in Topeka, Kansas in 2003. On May 18, 2013 she married Rev. (Ret.) Paul C. LeDuc.
Nancy enjoyed a long career in a variety of administrative and human resources positions, most recently as Executive Administrator of the Kansas Development Finance Authority from 2003 until she retired in October of this year.
Nancy was an active member of the United Church of Christ and held many leadership positions in the Kansas-Oklahoma Conference. She was a certified master gardener who enjoyed spending many hours tending her home gardens.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Rev. (Ret.) Paul LeDuc, her mother, Dee Leupold, her stepfather, Dick Leupold, her two daughters, Leslie K. Roberts and Kara Roberts McKeage, and her two grandsons, Aidan and Finnegan McKeage, her brother, Roy Campbell, her sister-in-law, Jaqueline Voss, her nephew, Clifton Campbell, and her faithful pets, Sophie and Tiger Lily.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Midland Care hospice.
A memorial service will be held at the Central Congregational United Church of Christ, 1248 SW Buchanan, Topeka, Kansas, at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 3. Visitation with the family will begin at 9:30 a.m.
