Timothy J. Smith

Timothy J. Smith, 58, of Topeka passed away on November 27, 2013. He was born December 16, 1954 to Charlie M. and Margie (McGuire Smith).
Tim worked at GCR Tire as a Service Manager for 8 years. He married Virginia (Hallmark) Smith, she survives. He is also survived by his parents Charlie and Verna Smith and Margie McGuire, two children, Amy (Kenny) Johnson, and Lacey (Cory) Farrell, 4 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, siblings; Martin (Dena) Smith, Diane (Tom) Stone, Debbie (Allen) Cell, Dede Garfrerick, and Becky (Ron) Miron. He is preceded in death by step-siblings Patricia Smith and William Smith.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 10:30 am at Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rochester Cemetery. Mr. Smith will lie in state at the Davidson Funeral Home from 1-8 on Monday where the family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday evening. Donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in care of Davidson Funeral Home.
