Lois Ann Buff-Bailey, age 59, passed away November 2, 2013 at her home at 304 N.E. Mimosa Lane in Topeka in the presence of special friends at 1:10 a.m. Lois was born June 13, 1954 in Monroe, Nebraska, the daughter of Arthur K. Bruhn and Marion Ann Bitter Bruhn. She graduated from Leavenworth High School. Lois was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Unit #1367 in Holton, KS and the American Legion Post #400 in Topeka. Survivors include her mother, Marion Bruhn; a son, Johnathan Arnold and his wife Meagan and 3 grandchildren, all of Leavenworth; a sister, Alice Shupe and her husband Brian and a nephew, Kenneth from Port Orchard, Washington. Lois was a very special person that touched many hearts. She will be greatly missed by many.
Her wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of life will be Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Visitation from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. also Tuesday. A private graveside service will be later this week at Grantville Cemetery. Deborah Jackman, her caregiver, is putting together a dinner following her celebration of life at her home at 304 NE Mimosa Ln for anyone who would like to attend.
