Harold Benjamin Feltis

Harold B. Feltis, age 78, of Topeka passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Plaza West Care Home in Topeka. Harold was born July 11, 1935 at Hayes, Kansas the son of Nicholas and Marie Hoffman Feltis. He grew up in Hayes, graduating from Hayes High School in 1953. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1953 – 1956. He married Judith Ann Miller August 31, 1967 in Topeka. She preceded him in death October 29, 2011. Harold worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone for over 34 years. Harold enjoyed playing golf. He is survived by a son, Mitch (Pam) Feltis of Topeka; three daughters, Linda (Mikel) Sorenson of Seattle, WA, Gwendolyn (Michael) Lucas of Acworth, GA and Laura (Eric) Kloss of Rosharon, Texas; a brother Nick Feltis of Denver, CO; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. He will lie in state Monday from noon – 8:00 p.m. with visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. also at the Davidson Funeral Home. Rosary will be prayed one hour before services on Tuesday. Interment will be at the Rochester Cemetery. Condolences may be made to the Mother Teresa Catholic Church and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.
