Jessi Welch

Jessi Welch, age 13, of Delia, passed away September 25, 2013. She was born August 24, 2000 to Rocky Sr. and Billie (Smith) Welch. She attended Rossville Junior High School where she was looking forward to becoming a member of the Art Club.
Jessi loved horseback riding, she loved to read, draw and listen to music. She enjoyed being with her family and friends, spending time outdoors, and taking care of animals, especially her dog Duke. Jessi loved to cook especially with shrimp. She loved angel wings and her favorite flower was the stargazer lily. She had a wonderful sense of humor and cherished the nickname given to her by her family “Pork Chop”.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Bill Smith and Twila Fountaine, uncle Mike Frantz, and aunt Brenda Roberts. She is survived by her parents, brothers; Brian Pilarz, John Rath, and Rocky Welch Jr., sisters; Barbara Rath, Roxy (Randy) Acker, Michelle Welch, Krystal Welch, and Jessica Haskins, grandmother Judy Smith, aunts; Donna Meyer, Tina (Scott) Barnes, and Scarlett Pratt, uncles Scott (Stacy) Smith, and Ray Terry. She was also loved by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 3-6 PM, with a funeral following at 6 PM at Davidson Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be sent to Davidson Funeral Home to assist the family with services. A full obituary can be read and online condolences can be left at davidsonfuneral.com.
