Milton D. Dodds

Milton D. Dodds, age 65, of Topeka passed away Saturday morning at a Topeka hospital. Milton was born March 31, 1948 in Tupelo, Mississippi the son of H.D. Dodds and Ludie Hester Dodds. He married Carol Degan April 4, 1974 in Topeka. He worked for various asphalt companies in Topeka such as A & W Asphalt. He loved working on cars and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cheyenne Morrissey in May of 2008. He is survived by his wife of over 39 years, Carol Dodds; 4 sons, Johnny Dodds, Christopher Dodds, Adam Dodds Sr. and Clint Dodds, all of Topeka; 3 daughters, Michelle Dodds, Dana Woosley and Kimberly Dodds, all of Topeka; 4 brothers, Dewey Dodds of Rossville, Cliff Dodds, Mike Hester and L.D. Dodds, all of Topeka; two sisters, Elizabeth Falter and Joann Porubsky, both of Topeka and 14 grand-children.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. He will lie in state Tuesday from noon – 8:00 p.m. with visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Rochester Cemetery.
