Delores Irene Roit

Delores I. Roit, age 84 of Valley Falls, formerly of Topeka, passed away Sunday at her home in Valley Falls. She was born January 9, 1929 the daughter of Lewis and Addie Grindol Ogan. She married Leonard Roit in 1946, he preceded her in death January 30, 1985. She worked for Hallmark Cards in Topeka and also while living in Fairbanks, Alaska. She was a longtime member of the Grantville United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Beverly who died in infancy and Pam Cochran. She is survived by a son, Tom (Elaine) Roit of Ozawkie, KS; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Johnson and Kevin Roit and a great-granddaughter, Aubrey Johnson.

Graveside services will be Friday, September 13, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at the Grantville Cemetery. Friends and family will gather Friday before the services from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home before going to the cemetery.
