Dwight Eugene Lively

Dwight E. Lively, 66, of Hoyt, passed away August 17, 2013 in Lafayette, Louisiana. He was born August 29, 1946 in Ft. Lewis, Washington, the son of Denton and Evelyn Knop Lively. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Lively of Hoyt; a son, Dwayne (Keiko) Lively of Japan; a daughter, Angela (Shodd) Redmon of Florida; six step-daughters, Kathy Bock of Topeka, Vickie (Gary) Roellchen of DeSoto, Rhonda (Gary) Greening of Meriden, Nicole (Brian) Woodward of Topeka, DeeDee (Sean) Binkley of Hiawatha and Tory (John) Kanicki of Meriden; a brother, Dennis (Peggy) Lively of South Dakota; a sister, Barbara (John) Thornton of Florida; four grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at South Knollwood Baptist Church in Topeka. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church on Thursday. He will lie in state Wednesday from 1-5 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will be at Spring Hill Cemetery in Whiting, KS .
